A nature trail · Two friends walking

I was on a trail
with a friend.

He asked me something
I've been asked
a hundred times
in thirty-five years.

Why is it so hard
for people to change?

I told him —
it's not that it's hard.

People protect the parts of their lives
meant for rest.
Meant for stability.

Who are we to impose —
if they don't seek it,
or want it?

It's even in the Bible.

The light doesn't force itself
on anyone.

It shines.

People choose to receive it.
Or they don't.

That's the whole thing.

When someone's ready —
when the traps expire
and they finally have the chance —

we want them to have a path.
A connection.
Something magnetic.

Easily acquired.
Passed from one relationship to another
like a baton in a relay race.

That's why I built this.

The Vision

My dream.
My vision.
My prayer.

To fire a piercing beam of light
into the heart of family —
through the spread of cultures
of trust and talent.

Families bonded together
in the various flavors of love —
parental couples, passionate lovers,
parents and children,
best friends, siblings.

United in the pursuit
of fun and caring.

Strengthened and refined
under the fire of life's trials.

Each family —
a unique beam of light
to flash to the hearts
of other families.

All made possible
through the 4 LAWS
of Trust and Talent.

Just become
a culture bearer.
